We headed up to DC for the weekend for @missandiemercado's birthday. We caught a 1am bus from NYC to DC after a night of going out, and stayed up for nearly 24 hours but it was so worth it. The Airbnb that we stayed at was gorgeous, to the point that we wanted to stay there forever lol. On the second day, we woke up early and caught sunrise at the memorial, and we were lucky enough to catch it empty. We filled the rest of the weekend with coffee shop hopping, wandering aimlessly in Georgetown, and drinking hot cocoa in front of the fireplace.
